Highway Superintendent
The Town of Lima
Highway Department is
located at 7334 Dublin St. in the heart of the village. It
includes 5 full time employees and 1 part time employee.
The
Highway’s Department phone
number is 582-1443. Our current work hours are 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday thru Thursday.
It has 16 pieces of
equipment to
it’s everyday tasks. This includes snow removal on
60 miles
of highway. It also includes all types of highway maintenance
such
as mowing, ditching, resurfacing, brush removal and, most recently,
water line installation.
Our most recent
project is the expansion of the Highway Garage. The expansion
will be 50 x 100ft. Contractors are building the foundation,
however, we are completing electrical, plumbing, heating, etc..
I, Keith Arner, have
worked for the Town
for the past twenty six years, seventeen as the Highway
Superintendent.
